Ibni Al-Marhum Raja Muda Musa
Dibawah pepayungan diraja itulah rakyatnya bernaung.
PERINGKAT PERTAMA: Melantik Wakil Terulung Negeri Perak
*Fasa #1: Meletakkan darjat 'Yang Dipertuan'
*Fasa #2: Meletakkan martabat ‘Payung Negeri’ kpd Yang Dipertuan
Dia berdiri Berhadap Diraja [11]; lalu menyusun jari mengangkat sembah, seraya melafazkan “DAULAT”! sekali.
*Fasa #3: Menguji kecekalan daulat ‘Payung Negeri’
Lagi banyak ‘MAN” yang baginda tertahan, bertambah-tambah kukuhlah keperkasaan Baginda.
*Fasa #4: Menjadi Jembala Pertuanan Negeri

ReplyDeleteI do update my info as and when I find the previous data irrelevant or it is found to be rather vague.. thus necessary to give additional clarifications and/or to amend an oversight.
ReplyDeleteBUT this Blogspot seem to amend/update and "improve" its Format every and ever so often that I get utterly CONFUSED and FRUSTRATED !!!
Take for instance the (portrait/profile icon) above > IT WAS ON THE LEFT next to my name .. and NOW its on the right !!!
Now then ~ IS IT really necessary to move the icon ?!? It was nice at its former site.. so WHY CHANGE it ?!??
Can someone please explain to me Blogspot's fickled rationale??
Engku Ji, could you explain more on this adat berbisik nasab sultan..what is the "secret" actually which is being whispered to the Sultan actually?
ReplyDelete"NASAB SULTANI" is an Arabic-Persian jargon which simply means the revelation of the TRUE IDENTITY of the Sole Origin of the Monarch on the Perak Throne.. It IS a traditional Secret-Of The-Throne .. If I should reveal you the Secret as to what and who he is, it would not be a "State Secret" anymore .. would it not ?!
ReplyDeleteSo please desist from asking a silly question ~ you may get a sillier answer from Yours Truly!!!
hahaha engku ji, mana patik tau it is a state secret..i was just curious to know about what is being whispered thats all hehehe anyway sorry if you got offended with my silly question
ReplyDeleteI would like to comment on Dakini which is the kadam of Pedang Cura Si Manjakini. Dakini (according to the folklore Hindu culture) is a CHURAIL (churail is also famous in PUNJAB) which is actually a woman who has died during child birth, pregnancy or some other trauma and whose ghost roams road crossings and fields at high noon. Similar to a white lady. They are usually described as beautiful, but with some parts of the body or the feet odd or reversed. According to lore, they may lure young men into being attracted to them, or even marry them and they may, or may not, cause harm to these men. According to certain PUNJABI legends, a CHURAIL gets extremely jealous when she sees a pregnant women and she will try her best to "kill" the baby in the womb and drink the blood.
ReplyDeleteThis is another interesting fact (told by my late grandfather) Dakini is actually one of the so called Maidens of Goddess MA KALI (the powerful mother goddess known as SHAKTI in the ancient INDIAN culture right up to the civilization of the INDUS valley. Goddess MA KALI is known as the Goddess of War and Destruction and most of the MAHARAJA's in INDIA (point to be cleared INDIA was never a country, it is made up of at least 600 princely states or kingdoms) will worship MA KALI before going for WAR and MA KALI will instruct DAKINI or CHURAIL to be the KADAM's of all war weapons, DAKINIS love the taste of blood, its like nectar of life for them and this is why you can see a cup on their heads. The weapon which now powered by the presence of DAKINI will be 'alive' and it will guide the sword bearer to kill all enemies as you see them and once the sword touches blood, it will not stop !! it will beg for more blood and the sword will then be so powerful till the bearer will be KEBAL.
I reckon Pedang Cura Si Manjakini (in PUNJABI language Cura meand bangle and Manjakini means DAKINI so it means that the Pedang (sword) has a strong presence of KADAM DAKINI till she is attached to the sword just like a bangle attached to a girl's hand. The owner of this sword can even summon Goddess MA KALI herself with proper mantras ( i personally know some of this ancient MA KALI mantras) and some other rituals and once a KING/MAHARAJA/SULTAN goes for War, rest assured HE WILL WIN !!!
Now, in ancient royal punjabi customs, all war weapons especially Swords must be "fed" with BLOOD, of course there is no wars like those days so they have subsituted with GOATS blood, every year on the day of DUSSEHRA (a day where all weapons are worshipped) all war weapons will have to be cleaned up, scrubbed with earth, then clean with water, then dip it in pure cow's milk and then dip into GOATS BLOOD, my late grandfather even told me that he have seen how the swords will be "drinking" the blood !!!! After that, a GHEE lamp will be litted nearby the swords and then it will be kept back in the GUDANG SENJATA.
According to GURU GOBIND SINGH JI (The 10th Master of SIKHISM) we must read CHANDI DI VAR after completion of the sword cleaining ritual. CHANDI DI VAR is a SIKHISM scripture which is read before a SIKH goes for WAR in which Goddess DURGA and MA KALI will be called upon for protection and to blessed all swords. (i believe when CHANDI DI VAR is being recited, Goddess MA KALI will instruct her DAKINIS to be in the war weapons !!
Now i shift my view on the current MA KALI rituals and practices and how SHE will protect her devotees, I have seen personally how some of MA KALI devotees get into problems and instantly after praying to MA KALI the problem will just go off !! One day, I was told by my close friend that someone is threatning to kill him because he owe that guy some money, I couldnt help him much that time but i knew he was a staunch devotee of MA KALI even though he is also a SIKH like me, few days passed by and he gave me a called after that telling me that the guy is dead !! i asked him how? he said in an acciddent, and then he told me that after meeting me the other day, he got so frustrated he locked himself up in the room and recite all MA KALI mantras and told HER that he cant take it anymore with that guy and WALLAH !!!! the guy is dead after 2 days !!!
ReplyDeleteFor your information Engku Ji, MA KALI is not a BAD lady, SHE loves her devotees but she goes extra length to annihilate all enemies of her devotees ! she can even grant royalty and money to her devotees!
In view of this, i reckon that is why the perak sultans have alot of DAULAT, it could be due to the Pedang Cura Si Manjakini which has kadam of DAKINI and blessed by MA KALI herself.
I am not sure whether that sword which is now with Tuanku Sultan Azlan Shah has been given proper care such as gloryfing it with all ancient rituals such as DHOOF (dhoof means asap kemenyan, DHOODH (dhoodh means dipping it with milk and KHOON (khoon means dipping the sword with blood of a slaughted animal such as goat)and reciting either MA KALI mantras or CHANDI DI VAR as in SIKHISM. I believe if all this rituals are not being done, slowly the power of the sword might diminished (this is my opinion).
Point to be noted here that all DAKINI or MA KALI PUJA (Prayers) must have 4 things, water (preferably GANGGA JAL - water from the great Gangges River in India, DHOOF (kemenyan), DHOODH (milk) and KHOON (blood) and then all mantras are to be recited to INVOKE DAKINI or MA KALI for protection or to be KADAM for a weapon !!
If you need any further clarifications Engku Ji about this matter, please let me know.
Enjoy Reading !!
RATUSAN TERIMA KASIH sahabatku YUVRAJ Singh JI !!!
ReplyDeleteThe descriptive clarifications, based on positive reports from your late grandfather, as well as the relevance of your additional related report about your distressed friend ..
They are all most ENLIGHTENING ~ and certainly provide ADDITIONAL PROOF to my initial discovery about the "Mambang" DAKINI and (her) relationship to the Pedang CURI' Si MAN-DAKINI' aka "Pedang Cura SiManjakini".
Ref: ESK PAGE Posting ~ "THE PERAK STATE SWORD":
It's rather regrettable that Blogspot PAGE Posting do not provide Readers' Comments .. Otherwise, your remarks and reports would be an IDEAL MATCH to that article of mine !!! It FITS PERFECTLY !!
Having such a blogspot shortcoming does not necessarily hinder an idea..
Thus, I WISH to edit and INCLUDE selected points from your reports as above noted ~ INTO, and as part and parcel, of my short-based article vide "THE PERAK STATE SWORD" at my PAGE Posting.
It would be a tedious homework, but it'll be done .. with YOUR "RESTU" Yuvraj Ji !!
no problem engku ji, my restu will always be there for you ! if you need any further info about MA KALI or DAKINI do let me know..will try my best to answer all queries !
ReplyDeletewith utmost due respect to my engku ji and ku alam, I am not disputing any views here but for your information, the Dakini in the Tibetan Buddhism culture is TOTALLY different...in the Tibetan culture, Dakini is viewed as a manifestation of life and energy and she is being revered as mother earth itself...the Dakini in the Indian culture (which is the kadam of pedang Cura Si Manja Kini) is just as how I have illustrated in my earlier comments which is being published here.
ReplyDeleteAs we are aware the origins of Pedang Cura Si Manjakini, it is the sword of RAJENDRA CHOLA I when he invaded the Kingdoms of Sriwijaya and Chola Kingdom is a Hindu Kingdom right down to the South of India where ancient Dakini and MA Kali puja is being done daily even until today..for your information Engku Ji, Ma Kali is a household deity in Calcutta, India and they called her as MA TARA.
I even got reports that HUMAN SACRIFICES are done secretly in Calcutta even until today to appease DAKINI and MA KALI.
Hope my comments doesnt offend anyone here and I humbly request for my sincere apologies if I have done any mistakes.
Thank you
I would like to share some information which I gathered when I was on a trip to India few years ago, I visited a GURDWARA nearby my ancestor’s village and I have the opportunity to meet up with one old SARDARJI who is well versed in my family’s royal history (guess he is dead by now).
ReplyDeleteHe narrated a legend in which I personally is true (I found the same fact when I was doing a research on LORD RAM of the ancient HINDU culture).
Let me give a brief introduction on LORD RAM, He is known as a MAN OF HONOR and He was the first guy who instill that human being should have good moral values such as respecting your elders, pray to GOD always, do good things and the list is endless, For your information, LORD RAM is actually the reincarnation as an AVATAR of the GREAT LORD VISHNU himself ! LORD VISHNU is known as the ETERNAL GOD by the HINDUS, it is said when VISHNU was meditating in total darkness in space, He created LORD BRAHMA from his navel and LORD SHIVA, LORD BRAHMA is known as the CREATOR who is put in charge to create the entire universe (including mother earth) and LORD SHIVA is known as the Lord of Destructions, in which he will create deaths, earthquakes, tsunami and whatever destruction is happening in this world. He is not a bad guy but it is the way how this universe takes it course to counter balance things, when there is life there is death !
Now, LORD RAM was summoned to leave the palace (as he was a prince of AYODHYA) together with his wife MA SEETHA (MA SEETHA is known as the reincarnation of MA LAKSHMI –Goddess of Wealth) – I personally do some prayers to MA LAKSHMI because in SIKHISM, MA LAKSHMI has been much revered as the Creator of Wealth but with the orders of one ALMIGHTY GOD which is known as WAHEGURU in SIKHISM. LORD RAM spent 14 years in the jungles and there he meet LORD HANUMAN (the much revered MONKEY GOD in INDIA and CHINA as well in the Buddhist culture). Why RAM was sent to the jungles? It happened because one of his stepmothers feared that RAM might take over as the new KING of AYODHYA after the death of MAHARAJA DASARATHA, as she wanted her son to be the next Maharaja to rule the Kingdom. The current Maharaja was quite weak feared that if he doesn’t adhere to the demands of his Queens, they might create chaos in the Kingdom.
Rama's life and journey is one of perfect adherence to dharma despite harsh tests of life and time. He is pictured as the ideal man and the perfect human. For the sake of his father's honour, Rama abandons his claim to Kosala's throne to serve an exile of fourteen years in the forest. His wife Sita and brother Lakshmana, unable to live without Rama, decide to join him, and all three spend the fourteen years in exile together. While in exile, Sita is kidnapped by Ravana, the Rakshasa (Asura) (a.k.a. DEVILS) monarch of Lanka. After a long and arduous search that tests his personal strength and virtue, Rama fights a colossal war against Ravana's armies. In a war of powerful and magical beings, greatly destructive weaponry and battles, Rama slays Ravana in battle and liberates his wife. Having completed his exile, Rama returns to be crowned king in Ayodhya (the capital of his kingdom) and eventually becomes emperor, rules with happiness, peace, prosperity and justice—a period known as Rama Rajya.
The essential tale of Rama has also spread across South East Asia, and evolved into unique renditions of the epic – incorporating local history, folktales, religious values as well as unique features from the languages and literary discourse. The Kakawin Ramayana of Java, Indonesia, the Ramakavaca of Bali, Hikayat Seri Rama of Malaysia, Maradia Lawana of the Philippines, Ramakien of Thailand (which calls him Phra Ram) are great works with many unique characteristics and differences in accounts and portrayals of the legend of Rama. The legends of Rama are witnessed in elaborate illustration at the Wat Phra Kaew temple in Bangkok. The national epic of Myanmar, Yama Zatdaw is essentially the Burmese Ramayana, where Rama is named Yama. In the Reamker of Cambodia, Rama is known as Preah Ream.
ReplyDeleteNow, you must be wandering why am i talking about Lord RAM….remember the old man which I meet in Punjab earlier, that grand old man told me that most of the Kingdoms in North India and including Punjab are the direct descendants of KUSH, KUSH is actually a son of LORD RAM, RAM has another son known as LUV, the descendants of LUV became great saints of INDIA including GURU NANAK himself who is a from the BEDI clan, BEDI’s are the descendants of LUV.
According to this old Babaji (Babaji means grandfather in Punjabi language), there is a reason why GOD create Kingdoms and choose some people to be Kings of this Kingdoms, GOD wanted all human being to be treated fairly and there should be a leader amongst men and to instill good values and practices. I am talking in the context of INDIA, GOD initiated LORD RAM into this world and gave him 2 sons, descendants of one son became powerful Kings throughout INDIA and another son’s descendants became powerful and great saints of INDIA. All of this was well planned by GOD himself that in order for a King to perform his duties, he must have the guidance of religion and that is why in most of the countries nowadays, you can see that Kings will definitely have a spiritual master made available whenever important decisions are to be made. In Malaysia, all of the SULTANS are known as KETUA AGAMA ISLAM thus they perform 2 roles together (one as a King and another as the spiritual head of the religion).
Babaji told that WAHEGURU (GOD in SIKHISM) himself will choose who will be the right person to be the next KING no matter where is the Kingdom and I believe it happens also in MALAYSIA especially in the PERAK SULTANATE which derives from BUKIT SAGUNTANG in PALEMBANG, INDONESIA. Let us look into the promise made by Demang Lebar Daun, “Jikalau anak patek tuanku peristeri, nescaya kedal ia.
“Baiklah tuanku. Tetapi jikalau anak buah tuanku dahulu mengubahkan dia, maka anak cucu patek pun mengubahkanlah.”
Now you must be thinking, why I am now shifting to the promise made by Demang Lebar Daun…do you know that BABAJI told that LORD RAM gave the same blessings to his son KUSH ? BABAJI told me this promise that one should not DERHAKA to his MAHARAJA and the other things, I felt proud of myself that I am a YUVRAJ hehehe, so what happen few months back, I was doing a small research on BUKIT SAGUNTANG and found this promise made by DEMANG LEBAR DAUN which left me in blinking !!! How come the same thing was mentioned by BABAJI also happened between DEMANG LEBAR DAUN and SANG SI PERBA ??? strange right??? Yeah I felt the same !
I now believe totally with the words of BABAJI that WAHEGURU (GOD) Himself choose the KING of a KINGDOM based on HIS wish, God is Great and that is why when a King is being coronated we should not curse or say bad things about the KING because it is the wish of GOD Himself that this person is to be made a KING !!! Bear in mind when we insult a King we are actually insulting GOD Himself.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that was in ancient time, let us talk about the current world, we are all aware that there are many Kings out there who became King by force, by murdering the former King, by cheating, complots and many other plots and ploys, Even Shah Jehan who built TAJ MAHAL was imprisoned by his own son who took over the Kingdom for himself and even killed his brothers so that no one else will claim the throne !!!
My own family faced this when MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH (SHER-E-PUNJAB –LION OF PUNJAB) died and all of his sons, cousins and nephews even the ministers start killing each other for the throne and finally MAHARAJA DULEEP SINGH became the last MAHARAJA of PUNJAB but then PUNJAB was annexed by the British and MAHARAJA DULEEP SINGH was exiled to England. MAHARAJA DULEEP SINGH had few sons and daughters and surprisingly all of his children died with no issues (langsung tak ada anak) !
But then, even though we find these facts are disturbing, what can we do? Tell you the truth, everything is happening is happening with the WILL OF GOD (QADR AND QODR as in ISLAM). WAHEGURU knows what is the best for us and all we can do is to pray to GOD to give us a Good King to lead us and guide us from DARKNESS to LIGHT.
I would like to give an example, SULTAN ABDULLAH II was exiled to SEYCHELLES together with his family…why this happen? This happen again because GOD wanted it to happen.even though many out there said that the Sultan was framed for the murder charge and etc. Sultan Abdullah II’s family is now no more in the list of RAJA-RAJA BERGELAR…why? Again this is destiny which has been orchestrated by GOD.
I hope my great Engku Ji RAJA KOBAT which I adore will be happy of my article and hamba sembah ampun kalau ada salah dan silap and seek for your royal guidance in future.
DAULAT TUANKU, DAULAT TUANKU, DAULAT TUANKU !!!
MAHARAJ KI JAI HO, MAHARAJ KI JAI HO, MAHARAJ KI JAI HO !!!
